| I inherited my Grandma Una Taylors Pictures and decided to check out some of the negatives she had. I came across some pictures of a Taylor reunion but can't identify the people because they are young and I have only seen them old. Can someone tell me who these people are? Julie Slaughter |

ReplyDeletePicture # 2 is (left to right) unknown, Virginia Scoggins (daughter of Madge Scoggins), Ben Taylor's wife Jenny, and Ben Taylor. Ben's wife was killed in an automobile accident shortly after this picture was taken. Picture was taken in the east yard of Acel Taylor's home in circa 1952.

ReplyDeletePicture # 5 has many unknowns but the oldest girl seated is Barbara Taylor, Maurice Taylor's daughter, sitting in her lap is Auburn's daughter Paula and the girl to the right of Barbara is Lynda Taylor, another of Auburn's daughters. This picture was taken on the cellar door of Acel Taylor's home, circa 1952.
ReplyDeleteI believe that this may have been the third Taylor Reunion gathering that I can recall. Prior to this gathering, there was a reunion held at Bean's Park on the Brazos River at Hwy 281, then another held in Chickasha, OK with the actual gathering taking place at Anadarko.
