Twas The Night Before Christmas

Fond memories of Kylie and Kinsley spending the night with
Grandad and Granmom at Christmastime 2014

A snowy night reminds us of what a fine Christmas we enjoyed with all the family

It was a huge spread of Christmas dinner delights with all the trimmings. Cathy and Joe brought the turkey and ham, Bobby brought the desserts and Carolyn and I filled in with side dishes and gravy. Kylie was enjoying her Christmas like 3 year-olds do and little Kinsley was happy to watch her big sister open all the presents.

Carolyn and I went to the theater and saw American Snipper - It was heart wrenching and it changed us!

Brandon Cooper gave a grand performance that should've earned him best actor at the Oscars. Also, Clint Eastwood should've also been awarded an Oscar as director.

Ft Worth Live Stock Show and Rodeo

At the Reata Backstage restaurant in the Will Rogers auditorium, we're eating fine sirloin at the Ft Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Thanks to Cathy and Joe for inviting us - I love that place: the sights, the sounds, the rodeo, cotton candy, the memories of when Dad took me there as a little boy and Kylie brings all those memories full circle. Cathy ordered banana pudding and five spoons for all of us to enjoy desert. It sat on the table 3 seconds before Kylie pulled that bowl of pudding over close enough for her to reach and commenced to empty the bowl by herself! Ha! Reminds me of me...

I gotta big kick of Kylie's pink cowgirl hat - wish you could see her pink boots! She had a great time at the rodeo watching the cowboys on horseback
